YMCA Camp Campbell
As a Cabin Leader for our Science Camp program, you will be a camp counselor for 5th or 6th grade students. Arrive on a Monday for a full day of training and leave on Friday afternoon. This is a Monday through Friday overnight commitment in which you will receive 87 service hours. As a Cabin Leader, you will support your Naturalist with behavior management while ensuring your campers are staying safe and having fun. Naturalists will be the ones teaching classes, such as forest and fire ecology, low ropes, teambuilding, animal adaptations, and the night walk, amongst others.

- This position involves working in the outdoors in all weather conditions. Close-toed shoes are mandatory. - We can cater to dietary needs, including gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, and vegan. - We have a Health Cottage staff member on site while campers are in attendance. - We have a staff member located in each village overnight in case there is an emergency.
