Lewis & Joan Platt East Palo Alto Family YMCA

Join us in making a positive impact on young athletes! The YMCA Youth Flag Football Clinics focus on teaching fundamentals and giving kids a fun, team-oriented experience led by supportive adult role models. Our clinics encourages skill development through practice and fosters social growth through teamwork. We are seeking energetic and committed volunteer coaches to help deliver youth soccer clinics for children ages 5-14.

The East Palo Alto YMCA is offering a flag football sessions for kids ages 8-14. Each 1-hour practice will focus on drills and skill development, and scrimmage to apply those skills in a game setting. This program aims to enhance flag football abilities, foster teamwork, and provide a fun, engaging experience for all participants.

All volunteers must complete in-house training to ensure a safe environment for our athletes. Required training courses include but not limited to: • Concussion Awareness • Coaching Safety • Youth Protection Policies This brief training course will equip you with the tools to keep our players safe and ensure a positive experience for all.
