ADVISORY BOARD VOLUNTEER General Function Working with the Executive Director, Advisory Board volunteers provide advice, advocacy and connection to the Silicon Valley community. The Advisory Board is comprised of members of the community and is reflective of the Y it serves. The Advisory Board is responsible for building a strong base of support for the affiliated YMCA in the community (through contributions, volunteers and collaborations) in order that it will successfully fulfil its charitable mission.
